CSU Todos Santos expands semester offerings
July 17, 2023
THIS YEAR, students seeking international experiences may enroll in an expanded number of semester programs at the CSU System’s campus in Baja California Sur, Mexico.
CSU Todos Santos, in a village on the Pacific Coast, will host university students for 10 weeks during spring and fall semesters and for five weeks during summer terms. The center is now enrolling students for a session called Sustainability in Baja California Sur, which will run March 1 to May 9, 2024. The five classes offered during the session – and related experiential and service learning – will focus on the theme of sustainability; classes confer a total of 13 academic credits and will be taught by Colorado State University and Todos Santos center faculty and staff.
Semester offerings supplement single courses, internships, externships, research experiences, and other academic programs offered each year at CSU Todos Santos.
The campus opened in 2015 to serve as a learning center and base camp for CSU System students and faculty seeking an enriching international setting for exploration and discovery. Its mission is to provide opportunities for students to grow as global citizens, particularly in their understanding of and appreciation for other cultures. The center’s programs include a variety of activities designed to benefit both students and local communities.
